Lots of bad things happened to me this month. Bad karma? Or was my luck tainted by seeing a death? Hmm… Let’s recap.

• Saw the death of a young boy, who was riding his motorcycle without a helmet. Underage and without a helmet? WTF?
• Internet down for a whole week. TM blames my modem. I buy a new one. Guess what? Still not working! After another week of trash-talking and arguing with their staff, technicians and supervisors, finally they replace their problematic port.
• Hard disk failure. 500 gig worth of data was in jeopardy. Luckily the crash was premonitory, therefore some useful data was able to be salvaged.
• 16 GB SD Card failure. This just comes out of nowhere. Luckily there’s not that much critical data on this one.
• The loss of my 32 GB thumbdrive. This pissed me off! I accidentally left it at a local cyber cafe, rushed back to get it, and the person in charge denied that I left it there, yet he can describe what the pendrive looks like. Definitely putting the cyber cafe on my banlist. I, however, blame TM for this one, since the internet was down during that time, forcing me to go to cyber cafe.
• Accidentally tripped on my netbook cables, thus sending the netbook flying and crashing and damaging the lcd.  It cost me 500 to get it repaired.
• The death of Speedy Gonzalez. I have no idea what happened to this little hamster. He was just dead in the morning when I found him.
• My bluetooth headset suddenly fails. Sent away for warranty repair.
• My newly bought karaoke microphone for the xbox doesn’t work properly. Sent away for warranty repair.

See! A streak of bad luck, and it keeps on coming. Let’s hope it ends with October.
