R.I.P. Ken

Ken, 2005-2008

Today after I returned home from work, I dint knock my gerbil’s tank as I usually do to disturb their sleep. I just went on doing other things like playing games and surfing the net.

Then around 9 pm, when I am about to feed my kids (2 sugar gliders, 2 guinea pigs and my 3 gerbils), I noticed Ken was not jumping around like he usually does. He sleeps peacefully. I knock the tank. He doesnt wakes up. He’s already goes into the light. And I failed to notice that.

Ken was with me for 3 years. He’s the youngest amongst my gerbils, and the most playful one. He had been a part of my life and been with me through the transition of me from college years into a career life.

Goodbye Ken. I’ll miss you. Hope you enjoy your afterlife better.
